pollution of water by insecticides
نویسندگان
چکیده
fifty percent of world argricultural production is destroyed by insects each year. therefore, enormous quantities of insecticides are consumed to control these pests. as an example, france is using 35000 metric tons insecticide every year. some of the methods used for spraying and applying insecticides tend to increase the pollution of natural waters . in this article different factors causing water pollution by insecticides are reviewed and studied briefly.

Mapping System of Water Pollution by Autonomous Fish Robots
We propose a water pollution source mapping system based on ubiquitous sensor networks that fish robots search the source of water pollution autonomously. To verify the effectiveness of a water pollution source mapping system, we made a model water pool in which a fish robot pursues infrared measurements of reflection to various colors at the bottom of the pool. The model of water pollution con...

Contour filter strips planted with perennial vegetation can be used to improve surface and ground water quality by reducing pollutant, such as NO3-N, and sediment outflow from cropland to a river or lake. Meanwhile, the filter strips of perennial grass with biofuel potentials also have economic benefits of producing ethanol. In this study, The Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) model was app...
متن کاملThe Water Pollution Policy Regime Shift and Boundary Pollution: Evidence from the Change of Water Pollution Levels in China
Boundary environmental pollution and pollution spillovers are important issues for improving the water quality of trans-boundary rivers. This paper explores the empirical effects of the evolution of the pollution reduction mandates on boundary pollution by studying the change of water pollution levels (as proxied by pH, BOD, COD and NH3-N) of key state monitoring stations from 2004 to 2014. The...
